ST-BE8 RESIN is an epoxidized sucrose soy ate polyester resin. The product is 100% bio-based. It has a high number of reactive epoxy groups per molecule. It can be cured through a variety of mechanisms to yield highly cross-linked thermosets, being comparable to petrochemical resin. These thermoses can be used in applications such as coatings, composites and structural adhesives. Best reacted with alkyds or polyester systems. Improves UV resistance, hardness, scratch resistance, flexibility and water resistance.
